“This place strikes me as a genuine find in Milton Keynes: a sixteenth-century building that balances its historical bones with modern-day comforts. I'm particularly drawn to its pet-friendly approach, something that feels both welcoming and practical. The pub culture here seems central, promising good food, drink, and a lively atmosphere, perfect after a day exploring nearby Silverstone Circuit and Bletchley Park.”

The Old George Hotel, a 16th-century inn, offers clean and comfortable rooms, some of which are spacious and equipped with tea and coffee facilities. Its central High Street location in Stony Stratford provides convenient access to the No. 6 bus route linking to Central Milton Keynes Rail Station and the shopping centre, with free car parking available nearby. The staff were friendly , and they helped me immediately with my luggage. Breakfast was served at a sister hotel just down the street , and it included many options. The location is super convenient , very close to all the shops and local attractions.
The water pressure in the shower was weak.

a charming historical haven

separate doorcomfy bedhelpful staffshort stay
I adored the room having its own separate door from the courtyard. the bed seemed comfy. staff members were helpful and accommodating with my late arrival. This meant so much to me. i found everything perfectly fine for my short stay, too.
i observed that the room looked quite small, though it suited my needs. i can see how those seeking more space might find it slightly lacking.
